Transfer to Chateau Shumi for the grape harvest(transfer time - 30 minutes)
2:00pm Wine tasting and lunch in the vineyardsof Chateau Shumi
5:00pm Transfer back to Lopota Lake Resort. Free time
8:00pm Meeting for Gala Dinner at Chateau Buera locatedin Lopota Lake Resort

You can expect great food, Georgian polyphonic singing, witty toasts, boundless joy, and a LOT of wine.
Before the feast we will need to work a little bit. First, we will collect the grapes, then squeeze the juice, cook traditional Georgian dishes and of course learn about Georgian wine.
All this will happen in the famous Chateau Shumi.

We will stay in Lopota Lake Resort & Spa. The resort boasts of huge territory with its own mountain lake, vineyards and beautiful surroundings. The drive to the Resort will take around 2,5 hours.
Depending on your time of arrival we will organize comfortable group transfers.

In October weather in Kakheti is mild with average temperature of +15 to +25 degrees. Evenings might be chilly. We advise you to pack a light jacket or sweater. Rain is also possible so a rain jacket is always a good option to have.
We will work in the vineyards. Please choose comfortable clothes and shoes for this day.
The Resort has several pools and a SPA. Please don't forget the swimming suit.
Our program doesn't include time for shopping. You will be able to buy souvenirs at the airport before departure or in the gift shop of the Resort.
Georgian national currency is Lari (GEL).
Approximate exchange rate:
1 US Dollar - 2,6 GEL
1 Euro - 2,75 GEL
1 rubble - 0,025 GEL
Almost everywhere you can pay with Visa or Mastercard bank cards issued by NOT Russian banks.
You can exchange US Dollars or Euro at the airport upon arrival.
You can also buy a sim-card at the airport. Also for 3 days of our trip we advise to consider roaming as a more practical option.
